How to stay Warm in Winters!!!

Propane-Heaters-e1450677165271-750x422

Using these tips, you can stay warm no matter how frightful the weather outside gets.

1. Warm yourself first.

It’s easier to change your body temperature than room temperature, not to mention more eco-friendly. Instead of turning up the heat, put on another layer of clothing.

2. Wear a hat.

Your mom may have said that you lose 80 percent of your body heat through your head, but that’s not actually true. If you’re otherwise clothed, you’ll lose heat from any surface that’s exposed. So put on your hat, even if you’re inside.

3. Turn on the ceiling fan.

Warm air rises to the ceiling. Run your fan on its lowest setting in a clockwise direction to push the warm air back down to where you can feel it.

4. Switch between hot and cold water in the shower.

Hot showers immediately warm you up, but cold showers improve blood circulation between your skin and organs. Cold showers are also correlated with a stronger immune system.

5. Block drafts with a pool noodle.

Keep heat in and cold out by cutting a pool noodle in half lengthwise, wrapping it in fabric, and sliding it under your door. It’ll stay put all winter, and you can re-use it at the pool come summer. (But we recommend you spring for a new one.)

6. Two words: Programmable thermostat.

Another two words: Obvious, right? Stay toasty on schedule, so you never go home to a living room that’s colder than outside. You can even do it with your smartphone.

7. Trick a locked thermostat.

Not everyone has access to adjust the thermostat in their apartment or office building. If that’s the case, you may need to outsmart the device by making it “think” the room is colder than it actually is. Putting ice near itoften does the trick.

8. Dress your windows up in warmer clothes.

If you’re not wearing a tank top or going sleeveless, your windows shouldn’t, either. Replace thin curtains with heavier wool or fleece drapes in the winter. But be sure to open them on sunny days for free heat.

9. Go ahead, bake all day.

Using your oven heats up the whole house. You’ll feel even cozier if you invite friends—and all their body heat—over to eat four dozen cookies.

10. Start composting.

If you’re already interested in composting, here’s another reason to do it: The microbial breakdown of organic material produces heat. Some people use it to warm up showers and greenhouses, but even small-timers in studio apartments can feel a difference.

11. Layer your covers with the thinnest, densest ones on top.

It’s intuitive, but fluffy blankets should be closer to your skin. Thin, dense blankets should be on top to prevent convective heat loss. Bonus tip: Don’t put your bed directly against an exterior wall. You’ll be warmer if you leave a little space.

Huda matte lipstick 💄

Hello beautiful girls :* after a break of one week I’m back with an energy and so much wanting to give a review about Huda matte lipstick. As i was going through different posts about this product all i could see was how amazing this product is. Here is what i think about it and please girls also let me know if you agree with me

Yesterday when i was trying this product for the first time it seemed so good who doesn’t like the yummy vanilla smell coming out of the lipstick and applying it on. I noticed that 2 application were necessary for this product. Secondly as i was applying to check this product it dried up fast and i could feel something fake about this. While going through reviews everyone was like its so light and so good but the truth is when you join the two lips together u feel a thin layer like plastic and it made me feel uncomfortable. Lastly when i wanted to remove the product it was very hard to take it off. These are truly only my opinion about this product and yes i think i need to use it again so that my review changes about this product

PACKAGING:

Packaging of the product is really nice neat and presentable too. I would like girls to also share their reviews about this product. I hope someone agrees with me.

The shades and tones which are available for these product is here below :

Hair care 👧

Six Hair Care Tips for Luscious Locks

  1. Realize that the grass is not always greener. Embrace your hair in its natural state, whether it’s thin and straight or thick and curly, or somewhere in between. The more you struggle against Mother Nature, the more damage your hair will suffer.
  2. Get regular “checkups” for your hair. Both guys and girls should get their hair trimmed regularly. Even if you are growing out your hair, get a trim at least once every two months (some recommend every six weeks). As you go through puberty, your hair might go through some drastic changes. A stylist can help you manage your hair by giving advice on products to use or by changing your hairstyle.
  3. Remember: Manufacturers want your money; you want healthy hair. Don’t believe the magazines or the back of the conditioner bottle, especially if it says you need every product in a particular manufacturer’s line of hair care products. Use only what you absolutely need. Often this can be as simple as shampoo and conditioner, and perhaps a deep conditioner to use weekly on dry or thick hair, or a detangler for tangle-prone hair.

  1. Beware of the brush. Even though it seems to make your hair shinier, repeated brushing can cause your hair to break and your ends to split. Of course, if you never use your brush, your mom would probably not be too happy. So use it when you need to, just not too much!
  2. Leave color changes to the professionals.Although do-it-yourself highlights and hair-color kits are easy and inexpensive, the results are almost always not in your best interest. Get a recommendation for a good stylist and consult with him or her (as well as your parents!) before you decide to change your hair color. There are infinite shades of blonde, red, brown, or even black. A stylist can help you pick the best one for your skin tone. Also, your current hair-color might react to certain dyes. And certain types of hair coloring can cause allergic reactions in some people.
  3. Take care in braiding hair. Multiple-braid styles can look great. But do not over-twist or over-tighten braided hair. This can apply too much pressure to the hair roots and skin. Use natural oils, not multiple chemicals, on braided hair.
